The analog audio signal is referred by the analog audio output channel as Digital Input (DI).
Digital audio has an analog-to-digital conversion algorithm that can convert a 16 bit analog signal to 16 bit digital audio, which may be 16 bit / 192 kHz, 16 bit and 48 kHz, or 24 bit / 48 kHz.
Digital audio DACs are commonly used for digital video and audio conversion, and can be either digital audio (DVAs) or analog audio (ADCs).
